The story behind the picture

Wish from Runyon canyon park

Runyon Canyon Park

Every time I visit Hollywood, there's a cherished ritual I never skip: a sunrise hike at Runyon Canyon Park. Nestled right in the heart of LA, this spot offers an escape to nature just steps from the urban sprawl. My journey begins in the dim pre-dawn light, ascending the well-trodden paths towards the summit. The air is cool and fresh, a welcome change from the city's usual bustle.

As I reach the top, the world opens up. On clear days, the view is simply breathtaking, with the sprawling city of Los Angeles stretching out below in all directions. The skyline basks in the early morning hues, and if the skies are generous, the distant shimmer of the ocean becomes visible. Watching the sunrise from here is a profound moment; it’s a spectacle of light and color that promises a new day of possibilities. It’s this magical experience, the blend of nature’s tranquility and the city’s vibrant energy, that draws me back to Runyon Canyon every time I’m in Hollywood.

We visited the Hollywood Bowl to see the Disney 80 & 90 show. It was an outstanding experience and a beautiful evening with the Hollywood sign in front of us and a full moon shining down on Hollywood.
